About Us

Leaf and Palm is a minority-owned family business on a mission to provide exceptional eco-friendly tableware. 

The company was started by two California-born brothers who share a concern for the environment - inspiring them to design and manufacture sustainable alternatives to plastic and other harmful materials. 

The plates are pressed in India from fallen palm leaves that have been naturally shed, so they do not require trees to be cut down and are completely biodegradable. They quickly decompose within 3-6 months, return to the soil, and leave no toxic residue behind - because no dyes or chemicals are ever used.  

Other plant sources are always being experimented with - with the hope to keep introducing new lines of dinnerware in the future.
